RURAL AREA MEDICAL (RAM) PROJECT
The initial RAM project was so successful and so well received that it has become an annual event -- and during July in every subsequent year our screening van, staffed by our Lions, has continued to participate in this very worthwhile program in the southwesterly corner of Virginia serving those truly in need.

RAM PROJECT 2003
This year, instead of meeting at the Wise County Airport, the RAM Project was moved to the Wise Fairground, and we set a record for patients seen, and procedures performed. This venue provided more space, and easier access for the patients, and better facilities for the volunteers.
Once again, the Sight and Hearing Van was front and center, screening for hearing, sight, and testing for evidence of glaucoma.
