Using the
funds donated by the twenty seven Lions
Clubs and a matching grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation,
the
Center was equipped with five lensometers, six work tables, twenty one
chairs,
a computer, printer/copier, a computer desk, file cabinets, storage
cabinet,
sorting bins, and steel shelving, a large hot water heater, two large
trash
cans and three wash tubs plus some leasehold improvements. The cost of
one
modern lensometer is $5200.
The annual budget to run the center is just over
$20,000. Most of this comes from
donations. We are a 501(c3)
organization. Your donation is tax
deductible. One hundred percent of all donations go to operating cost.
