Fellow Lions, are you a federal employee? Do you have federal employees in your club? Did you know that federal employees can donate to their favorite charities through payroll deductions? The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the largest workplace charitable giving program in the United States which helps to raise millions of dollars each year to benefit those in need throughout the world. Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is one of the approved CFC charities that benefit from federal employee giving.
Nearly four million federal employees and military personnel are able to contribute to the charities of their choice during the CFC annual charity drive, which runs from September 1st through December 15th each year. Please encourage your fellow federally employed Lions to donate through this program so that LCIF can bring sight saving, youth, health and disaster relief projects to your community and the world community.
If you are a federal employee and want to know how to support LCIF through your workplace, please contact your HR department and let them know the amount you want deducted as well as LCIF’s CFC number (11971). Thank you for your generous and tireless support for Lions work in the United States and around the world.
